Better late than never

So Gavin and I decided to give our Christmas presents to each other late. We were both making our gifts and just hadn't had the time to do it yet between school and work and getting ready to move. I gave mine to Gavin right before I moved down to Utah. Gavin gave my present to me last week when I came to visit from Utah. This is a picture he drew for me.

The caption says, 

"Years from now I can picture us still laughing, still holding hands,

 and still completely in love...just like we are now :)

Doesn't get much better than that. I would say that it was definitely worth the wait. 

Clinical number 4

So I finished the first week of my clinical. Can I tell you how much I love treating patients in the setting I like. I'm working at a hospital in Salt Lake City. My clinical instructor is hilarious. He pushes me to jump in, but allows me to decide if I am comfortable with things. He is great at asking me questions, but I know that nothing bad will happen if I have the wrong answer. It is a refreshing change from school. I feel like this environment is going to do wonders for me as far as my confidence in my abilities and how much I want to succeed. I would love to work here after I graduate, so I'm trying really hard to show him that I would be a valuable asset to his therapy team. Here's hoping!
